King Prajadhipok’s Institute and Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University Sign Academic Cooperation Agreement

On 21 August 2026, King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), in collaboration with Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Academic Cooperation and Joint Activities, with the aim of strengthening academic and research collaboration, as well as promoting the exchange and dissemination of knowledge for the benefit of society and local communities.

On this occasion, Mr Phumin Plangsomboon, Advisor to the Secretary-General of King Prajadhipok’s Institute, representing the Secretary-General of King Prajadhipok’s Institute, and Associate Professor Porpan Sutthiwattana, Acting President of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, signed the MOU on behalf of their respective institutions.

Both institutions recognise the importance of academic collaboration, research, and the dissemination and application of knowledge to generate tangible benefits for society and local communities.

The MOU focuses on three key areas of cooperation:

1. To establish networks and strengthen cooperation in academic and research activitiesbetween the two institutions.

2. To develop and enhance knowledge and understanding, while broadening perspectives and horizonsamong administrators, academic staff, researchers, and students.

3. To exchange and promote arts and cultural knowledge and activities, contributing to the conservation, development, and sustainable promotion of cultural heritage.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives from both institutions.

The ceremony also featured academic and cultural activities reflecting the enduring legacy and royal contributions of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni. These included the commemorative performance “Rambhai Barni Nat Rachini” and the cultural performance “The Charm of Chanthabun Mat Weaving”, presented by students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University.

The event also featured a special lecture on “The Royal Contributions of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni” by Mom Luang Sirichalerm Svasti (Khun Muek Daeng), who shared valuable insights into Her Majesty’s life and royal contributions.

Participants of the Advanced Programme in Politics and Governance in Democratic Systems for Executivesalso attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony.

The ceremony took place at the Faculty of Management Sciences and Suan Ban Kaew Palace, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, Chanthaburi Province.

This MOU marks another important milestone in the partnership between King Prajadhipok’s Institute and Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. It strengthens the connection between academic knowledge, research, arts and culture, while expanding learning networks and educational opportunities and promoting the application of knowledge for the sustainable benefit of society and local communities.
